Andrea, Nurse Practitioner:
Andrea is the creator behind MoodRx Mobile, an additional way to try to assist her patients in getting treatment.
Andrea has been working in healthcare since 2002 working in geriatrics, the Emergency Department/Urgent Care, has created and taught programs for ancillary medical staff, and now works in mental health since 2011. She has also previously owned her own business and owns an in-person practice currently.
Andrea describes her own identity as being a healthcare professional that’s a bit non-traditional: casual, validating and most of all, has no problem arguing to get her patients what they need.
She loves “The Office”, dachshunds and Post Malone and reports that the passion she has for her job is unmatched. She keeps up to date on evidence-based treatments so her patients have the most up-to-date pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options.

I am NOT a therapist. I deal with the medical side of psychiatry, however, that does NOT mean we won’t participate in talk therapy and therapeutic interventions to build rapport and so I can get to know your life story.
